Barista Advanced
You have been making espressos for a while and want to improve your cup? Want to learn about extraction? What is in the water we are using for coffee? In Black Potion we have designed a special program for those who want to take coffee to its highest level.
In this course we will go beyond the SCA's parameters and see what coffee is really about.
In the Barista Advanced Course, we will see the following points:
- Cupping of different coffee qualities.
- Different types of beans and coffee processing.
- TDS. What is it? How does it affect the cup?
- Minerals on water. Which water should we use for which coffee?
- Developing your own water recipe.
- Is an espresso only good when it's between 25 and 30 seconds?
A bag of specialty coffee by Black Potion is included in this course.
